Encouragement only takes a moment. As leaders, we have the opportunity to speak life into the girls we see and interact with every week. Speaking words of encouragement takes minimal effort but requires us to be fully intentional.

This next week, go with this thought in mind: How can I encourage someone today? It may be as simple as telling a girl how nice she looks, or how her smile brightened your day. It may be as personal as letting a girl know she has blessed you, or that you have noticed how she uses her gifts to glorify God.

The girls you have the opportunity to influence are desperate to be loved and accepted. Words of encouragement are free and can make a huge impact in their lives.
