See You at the Altar
A Call to Prayer for Mothers, Daughters, and Women of Faith
Every fall, students across the globe gather around their school flagpoles for See You at the Pole, a student-led movement of prayer for their friends, families, schools, and communities. What began in 1990 with a small group of teenagers in Texas has grown into a powerful worldwide expression of faith and unity. Now, we invite the women and mothers behind these students to rise in prayerful support.
What Is See You at the Altar?
See You at the Altar is a prayer initiative that happens alongside See You at the Pole, taking place this year on September 24, 2025. It is a space for mothers, mentors, and women of all ages to intercede intentionally on behalf of students, teachers, campuses, and our communities. Whether you're a mom, grandmother. teacher, or prayer warrior, you are invited to join this movement of bold, believing prayer.
How Can You Get Involved?
Mothers and women of faith can participate by planning:
- Prayer Meetings in homes, churches, or community centers
- Prayer Walks around local schools or neighborhoods
- Gatherings at Altars, whether physical or symbolic, to cry out to God for a generation
This is not just about one day, it's about raising up a culture of prayerful covering all year long.
