Mom's Café
he new Mom T-shirt was a big hit with local coordinator Gisela Arce of Springfield, Missouri. Gisela came up with a great way to get her moms more involved with their daughters. She selects one club per month for "Mom Café."
She sends invitations to each club member's mom inviting her to join her daughter in the clubroom for the last 20 minutes of the club meeting. Mothers are encouraged to work on a craft with their daughters, eat yummy snacks, drink coffee or tea, and ask questions regarding their daughters' achievement or club requirements. What a great way to reach out to unsaved moms! Start your own "Mom's Café!" (Please be sensitive to girls who do not live with their mothers.)
