Lovely Ladybugs
What You Need
Chocolate cake mix
Cupcake tin
Frosting
Red food coloring
Candy coated chocolate
Black string licorice
What to Do
1. Prepare chocolate cake mix as directed on back of box.
2. Fill cupcake tin three fourths full and bake as directed.
3. Once cooled, cut off rounded top of cupcake and apply red frosting.
4. Place brown candy coated chocolates on the frosting for the spots.
5. Cut the bottom half of cupcake in half again and stick as the head in front of the body.
6. Put two pieces of black licorice into head for antennaes. Stick two matching candy coated chocolates on the head for eyes using a small bit of frosting.
Jeweled and Gemmed Flower Pot
What You Need
Newspaper
Broken pottery or tiles, beads, marbles, beach glass, shells, charms
Plastic knife
Ceramic tile grout
Sponge
What to Do
1. Cover workspace with newspaper.
2. Have an adult sort through and discard any sharp pieces of broken pottery, tiles, beads, marbles, beach glass, shells, or charms.
3. Using plastic knife, spread ceramic tile grout over flower pot.
4. Press pottery, beads, etc., into wet grout, covering sharp edges.
5. After it's dry, use wet sponge to wash off excess grout/film.
