Q: I noticed that there is a new Stars Statement of Faith. Is this the Statement of Faith that the girls memorize for the Introduction to Our Church Honor Step, or do they still memorize the old one that is on the "Study Pages For Stars Honor Steps"?

A: Girls in Stars Club should learn and recite from memory the new Statement of Faith with the start of the new Girls Ministries year in September 2009. Fifth-grade girls graduating out of Stars this year (summer/fall 2009) should use the current Statement of Faith. This is the version they and their sponsors have anticipated learning and been working on. Fifth-grade girls graduating from Stars next summer (and all Stars from that point on) should learn the new version. The Stars study pages will be updated in the Fall to reflect this change.

Q: I have a girl who will be testing for Friends Graduate. She wanted to know if she could break up her test, meaning test on half of the questions and then test on the other half another night. Is this ok?

A: The Stars, Friends, Girls Only, and the Honor Sponsor Reviews are all comprehensive and should be completed at one time and proctored by a Review Board. Girls may use the practice quizzes available on the Girls Ministries Web site to practice and help ease the stress. Note this is only a quiz not the actual test, therefore the blanks are not identical.

Q: Do girls who are testing to become Honor Stars need to know all 36 Scripture verses to graduate or are they only tested over the units they completed?

A: While the Honor Star Review includes all of the 36 units, girls should be tested only over the 27 they studied during their time in Stars.
