Polaroid Scavenger Hunt
Take your girls to an outlet mall located within driving distance. Going somewhere that is not local is added fun. The event becomes a mini road trip and gives you and your girls a great opportunity to build relationships.
Prepare a list of clues for the stores you want your girls to go into and clues for what they must do once they have found the right stores. In each store, the girls should be required to do something, try something on, or just dress up and have fun. You can divide your club into teams or send them off as one big group. You can even designate a particular prize or incentive for all those who successfully complete the scavenger hunt.
A Polaroid camera must be given to each group of girls, and a Polaroid picture must be taken as proof of each task on the list being completed. Each store must be visited and each task must be successfully completed for the girls to be able to complete the scavenger hunt.
Can you imagine a bunch of 15, 16, and 17-year-old girls in a Pfaltzgraff store singing and doing the motions for “I’m a Little Teapot”? Imagine it, because it has happened!
A Girls Only club from Fortress Church in San Antonio, Texas, tried this Polaroid scavenger hunt at an outlet mall in San Marcos, TX. When they explained to a clerk what they were doing, they actually had an opportunity to witness! You never know what good having a little fun together may do!
