School Becoming a Reality in Venezuela
Just two and a half years ago, a team of district and national Girls Ministries leaders had the pleasure of visiting Samuel's House in Venezuela. Missionaries Gary and Patty Heiney, after years of ministry in Venezuela, were led by God to build this refuge for homeless and abandoned children. It was amazing to see the vast property that God has provided for this ministry. Acres upon acres of mountainous land for vegetation, animals, and homes stirred our passion for the Coins for Kids project, Hope for Venezuela, in 2013.
The Hope for Venezuela project was to build a school at Samuel's House. The groundwork for the school has begun, and we want you to see the progress! The slab has been poured and the administration building is going up. The first classroom will be next. You can check the progress and see photos on their Facebook page: "Samuel's House - La Casa De Samuel (Children's Home in Venezuela)."

The school will not only provide a quality education for the children at Samuel's House, but it will be available for other children in the surrounding area to attend. In Gary Heiney's words, "The education department is very excited about us having the school and providing education to the community."
It is exciting to know that so many lives are being impacted through Samuel's House. The potential there seems limitless! Please continue to pray for Samuel's House and the continuous developments taking place there.
